Selenium Solution: This essential trace element is an important component of glutathione
peroxidase, a vital antioxidant enzyme. Chemically sensitive persons
unable to tolerate selenomethionine are generally able to benefit from
selenium better as sodium selenite. With selenium only microgram (mcg)
amounts are normally required on a daily basis. Total daily intake of
selenium from supplements should not exceed 400 micrograms per day.
Selenium Solution is hypoallergenic and especially formulated for persons who are hypersensitive. Each teaspoon (5 cc) provides 200 micrograms of Selenium as sodium selenite. From Allergy Research Group. Must be refrigerated. |
